Learn how Justin, a Skulpt user and triathlete, used his scanner to improve performance:
“I have always been active and I lead an adventurous lifestyle. I’ve worked out all my life, and being in the military requires that I be in the best shape possible. The military focuses on only a few areas of the body so there is a huge personal responsibility to ensure that you stay well rounded on your own. I’m also a triathlete so for me, being strong in every area is especially important.
“With Skulpt, I’m able to know the quality of individual muscle groups, enabling me to efficiently target the weaker muscles and see very positive results and gains. Improving specific areas helped me to also improve my performance in triathlons, specifically. I was able to cut nearly four minutes off of my Olympic triathlon swim time (1,500m), increase by nearly 100W of power on my bike, and get my 5K run time below 18:00 minutes. The Skulpt scanner helped me identify what to work on, and in that sense helped me get these results.
“I have a busy work schedule, so fitting in my triathlon training is hard. Being able to focus on the areas that need the most work allows me to get the most out of my workouts, and much more efficiently too. It has completely changed my workout style.
Right now, I’m gunning to qualify for the Boston Marathon, and looking forward to my first 70.3 Ironman. I can honestly say that this was probably the best purchase for improving my fitness and performance I’ve made, and that says a lot since I have all the gadgets: from heart rate monitors, Foot Pods, Heart Rate Variability (HRV) apps, and Speed/Cadence Sensors to Power Meters. Nothing compares to the edge that the Skulpt scanner gives, in the ability to make the weak muscles strong and stop overtraining muscles that don’t need it.”
